• Use the FileForge desktop application (the “Software”);
• Visit our websites (including fileforge.com, surelink.com) or otherwise interact with us; and
• Communicate with us directly (e.g., support requests, email, surveys, feedback).
FileForge is designed to operate entirely on your computer and fully offline. FileForge performs file assessment, cleanup, optimization, OCR, transcription, image description, duplicate detection, Q&A generation/testing, and JSONL export locally on your device. SureLink AI does not receive your files or the contents of your files as part of normal FileForge operation.

By using FileForge or interacting with us, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Software or provide information to us.
Information We Collect
We collect limited information in the following circumstances:
1) Information Collected From Your Use of FileForge (On-Device / Offline)
FileForge does not require an internet connection and is intended to run locally. As a result:
• We do not collect, transmit, or store your FileForge Content (including your files, filenames, folder paths, OCR text, transcriptions, image descriptions, Q&A pairs, test results, or exported JSONL) during normal Software operation.
• We do not use tracking technologies in the Software itself.
Local Logs: FileForge may generate local diagnostic logs on your device to help you troubleshoot. These logs remain on your device unless you choose to share them with us.
2) Voluntarily Provided Information
If you choose to contact us directly (e.g., via email, support inquiries, contact forms, surveys, Slack, or other communications), you may provide personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, and any other details included in your message. This includes any feedback you explicitly provide.
Important: If you request support, you are responsible for what you send us. Do not provide sensitive personal data unless necessary. If you must share diagnostic material, redact content wherever possible.
3) Website Interactions
When you visit our website, we may collect non-personal information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and browsing behavior through cookies or similar technologies for analytics, performance, and site functionality. We do not use this to track your offline FileForge usage.
4) Installer Downloads and Updates (If You Choose to Use Them)
FileForge can operate offline after installation. However, downloading the installer (and any optional updates you may choose to download) necessarily involves network connectivity.
In those cases, our systems may record limited technical information typical of web delivery and security monitoring (e.g., request timestamps, file checksums, and other aggregated delivery/security signals). We do not design these processes to capture your FileForge Content. How We Use Information
For information you voluntarily provide or that is collected through website/installer interactions, we use it to:
• Respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
• Process and incorporate feedback to improve our products and services;
• Maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of our websites and distribution mechanisms (e.g., installer delivery);
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
• Process payments associated to your FileForge billing plan.
We do not use your information for marketing unless you explicitly opt in (for example, subscribing to newsletters), consistent with SureLink AI’s current policy posture.
Sharing of Information
1) FileForge Content
We do not receive your FileForge Content during normal offline operation and therefore do not share it.
2) Voluntarily Provided Information
We may share information you voluntarily provide:
• With affiliates and service providers who perform services on our behalf (e.g., email service providers or analytics tools for website operations);
• If required to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;

No system is perfectly secure, and no internet transmission can be guaranteed 100% secure—exercise caution whenever you choose to send us information for support or feedback.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website may use cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies to enhance your experience and support analytics and site functionality. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. We do not use tracking technologies in the FileForge Software itself.
